Model 900R

Models 9000R Pneumatic Positioner for rotary valves is a single acting, force-balance pneumatic positioner that is used to provide valve stem motion feedback and to characterize a rotary control valve's motion vs. input signal. Characterization of the valve is accomplished by attachment of a formed cam to a rotary control valve's stem. As the Valve's stem rotates, the positioner's range spring causes output loading air pressure to be either passed to the actuator vessel, or be vented into the enclosed arm housing's internals. This unique venting location purges air routinely, and minimizes corrosive effects due to moisture and dilute hostile chemicals found in the ambient air.
